OUTFIT
Hey there my beautiful friends. I hope you all having an interesting Thursday.
This is the pictures that i have kept quite a while to post. Actually, these are my very first photos taken by my friend Jonathan when i first decided to open a fashion and style blog in November, 2013. It was kind of a weird day but in a good way as i have never ever posed for a photographer for a street style photograph: P. As the sun was going down we spent only an hour or two for these photos, but i am quite a fond of the results we had. If you want to catch up with the cool stuff Jonathan has to offer, follow him on http://j-nock.tumblr.com/. For styling, my friend a talented young designer Oogii of http://ducksoup-oogii.blogspot.com/ and i came up with different ideas a night before, but at the end we agreed on the simplest outfit that we picked at the first place :)
Sometimes my siblings or cousins say that i have a granny style: P. I think that can be true in some ways. I love how my granny dresses up in a very sophisticated and chic style and of course very much vintage. She would say i bought this hat from Russia 30 year ago and i am still wearing it and i would never want to throw this away. No way granny!!! That is like a magicJ. I think she can actually open a vintage clothing store with her wardrobe. Now that i talk about my granny i should actually visit her this weekend and have a little tea with together.
Well, the granny about this style is actually my skirt and the long baggy jumper maybe. The skirt is vintage that i loved wearing so many years. I have been wearing this since my high school years. Actually this is my mom's skirt that she used to wear when she was younger. The good thing is if you keep your old clothes maybe at your parents’ home, they come up after so many years. That is exactly what happened between me and my skirt. You cannot really see from the photo but the skirt has a front split which is so flattering and it is knee length long and high waisted. I love love love this. The jumper is super cosy as it is baggy and long. You can wear this with almost anything, with skirts, with skinny and boyfriend jeans or with leggings. For me the statement of this look is the beanie hat I would say. I love beanie hats and beanie hats are really protecting my hair and head in this harsh cold winter of Mongolia.
For shoes, I love mid chunky heels on my daily life. They are easy to walk around the town especially in UB. Mongolian girls really like to dress up. There is no doubt about it, but sometimes when I see these beautiful girls wearing super high heels and walking down the unpaved road. OMG, that is like a disaster. Chunky heels or flats over the unpaved roadsJ.
For make up, I loved wearing deep, matte burgundy lipstick for this winter. Burgundy vampire lip color was so on trend for this winter. Personally, I prefer lipstick over lip-gloss, especially matte colors. You can always use lip balms before wearing your lipstick if the matte lipstick is too dry for you.
This is it ladies and Gentlemen
Now that after my posts for 2 months I am assuming that you kind of understand my style preference through my postsJ.
